The Board of Directors of The Association of
Personal Computer User Groups, Inc., an International Organization which helps
user groups to better serve their members, voted in January, 2005 to grant
$500.00 as seed money to the DMA® to help create Wireless Dayton Days.
This decision is compatible with APCUG's mission: To facilitate communication
among computer user groups, the community, and the technology industry.
Their generosity was further encouraged by interest demonstrated from user groups all over the world whose members wanted to hear about how another user group (such as the DMAR) works with a progressive city government and equally progressive corporate entities to inform individuals about and also to assist them with accessing the Internet through a free public wireless network.
We thank the APCUG Board of Directors and the APCUG Board of Advisors for both their encouragement and support.
Need help creating a WiFi User Group? A PDA User Group? Have an existing user group and want to make it better?
The Association of Personal Computer User Groups is a non-profit International organization that helps user groups to serve their members better.
