Volunteers Sought For Dayton's Newest Innovation!

Wireless Dayton Days

Volunteers are needed to guide individuals with wireless-enabled laptop computers or handheld PDA's through the short process of connecting their device to the wireless network and will give them a brief explanation of how the system works. Other support volunteers are needed as well, including: article authors, editors, vendor and news media support personnel, greeters, and volunteer supervisors.

Volunteers will be trained in ways to introduce new users to wireless Internet access and will also direct interested individuals to short (max. one hour) seminars which will include more in-depth information about wireless networks. Some of these seminars will be facilitated by Sinclair Community College instructors.
